Everything US buyers need to know about our rPET fleece fabrics
Yes. Our rPET (recycled polyester) fleece is made from post-consumer PET bottles — the same bottles you'd recycle at home. Approximately 4 bottles = 1 yard of standard polar fleece. Every shipment comes with a GRS (Global Recycled Standard) certificate that traces the recycled content from bottle to fabric. This is not "greenwashing" — it's independently audited.
GRS (Global Recycled Standard) — certifies recycled content and traceability. OEKO-TEX Standard 100 Class I — the highest safety level, certified safe for infant skin contact. ISO 9001 — quality management system. SGS Test Reports — independent third-party testing for anti-pilling, color fastness, shrinkage, and physical properties. All certificates available for download upon request.
Absolutely. Free A4-sized fabric swatches (20cm x 20cm) are provided at no cost. You only cover the international shipping fee (typically $25-$45 via DHL/FedEx). We ship within 3 working days. You can request up to 5 different qualities per shipment. Request swatches here.
Standard MOQ is 500 meters per color per style. For new brand partnerships, we accept 1-roll trial orders. Stock colors have no minimum order. We built our business model around serving small and mid-size brands — you won't get pushed aside like at the big mills that demand container-load minimums.
Our fleece fabrics undergo Martindale abrasion testing — the international standard for pilling resistance. Performance fleece is tested to 10,000+ cycles and achieves Grade 4-5 (excellent). Standard polar fleece is tested to 5,000 cycles. Full SGS lab reports are provided with bulk orders. We also test for color fastness (washing, rubbing, light, perspiration) and shrinkage.
Yes. We do custom dye to any Pantone TCX/TPG color. The process: you provide the Pantone code → we create a lab dip (3-5 working days) → you approve → we proceed with bulk. Lab dips are free for orders over 2,000 meters. Small surcharge applies for smaller orders. We also stock 60+ ready-to-ship colors for polar fleece.
Stock swatches: 3 working days via DHL/FedEx. Custom lab dips: 5-7 working days. Bulk production (standard): 7-15 working days depending on quantity and finishing. Custom dye + finishing: 15-20 working days. For urgent orders, we can expedite — just let us know your deadline.
Sea freight: 25-35 days to Los Angeles, 35-45 days to New York/Newark. ~$1.50-3.00/kg (LCL). Air freight: 5-7 days. ~$5-8/kg. Express (DHL/FedEx): 3-5 days. ~$8-12/kg (best for samples & small orders). We ship to all major US ports including Newark/NJ, Los Angeles, Savannah, and Houston. Door-to-door delivery can be arranged.
Polyester fleece fabrics generally fall under HTS Chapter 55 or 60 (knitted fabrics). Standard duty rates range from 8-17% depending on the exact HTS code. Additional Section 301 tariffs may apply (currently 7.5% on certain categories). We provide the correct HTS code, commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, and certificate of origin with every shipment. We recommend working with a US customs broker for your first import.
T/T (Wire Transfer): 30% deposit to start production, 70% balance before shipment. Our standard terms. L/C (Letter of Credit): Accepted for orders over $20,000. Irrevocable at sight. Trade Assurance: Available for Alibaba orders (for qualifying buyers). We do not accept PayPal or credit cards for bulk orders.
Yes and yes. We welcome in-person visits to our Keqiao partner mills (about 1 hour from Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport HGH). Can't travel? We'll do a live WhatsApp video walkthrough of the production line — you see exactly what you're buying. We also support third-party inspection (SGS, BV, Intertek) before shipment.
